No. 9: A Kitchen Sideboard

... is the theme in workshop no. 9 with Iris Arentz. Although the Trezoortjes piece of furniture is already assembled, it will be individually colored during the class and then decorated in the popular shabby chic style with all kinds of miniatures that the course participants make themselves, mainly out of paper.

One of the themes of the course is the professional refurbishment of cardboard tableware so that you could be tricked into thinking it was real ceramics. All the materials you need to fill the sideboard lavishly are provided. Various cut-out sheets are available for making the paper accessories, as well as acrylic paints in various colors and/or oak stain for the furniture. No previous experience is required.

No. 10: Royalty or Nanny?

In Workshop No. 10 with Helena Reijnen, the course participants are given the choice of whether they would rather work for the newly crowned King Frederick of Denmark (A, left) and dress him for an official state appearance, or hire a nanny for their doll's house nursery (B, right).

The decision is certainly also a question of price, because Helena Reijnen had to buy the medals and decorations with which she dresses his majesty herself and of course include them in her calculations. The nanny is therefore considerably cheaper.

Date: Friday, May 24, 10am - 6pm, A2 Forum Rheda-Wiedenbrück
Teacher: Helena Reijnen (Fashion Dolls in Miniature)
Price: Frederick (A): 258 Euro, Nanny (B) 175 Euro
